Was wondering if anyone else had the same observation....
My Samsung TS360 was having the usual and widely reported problems of
frequent sound blips, picture occasionally dropping and sound out of
sync with picture so Direct TV replaced it with an RCA DTC210. While the
210 seems much more stable, the HD picture quality is not as good at the
TS360...or so it seems to me. I have a Samsung DLP HLP6163W TV. Is it my
imagination?

I have a DTC210 with excellent picture on a 61" RCS DLP.
What do you have the switch set to for what output setting
to use? 480P, 720P, or 1080i. Have you tried different
setting to see if any are better? Also how do you have it
connected? DVI or component?

I have it set for 1080i and connected via the DVI port...not saying the
picture is "bad", just not as good (clear) as the picture I got from the
Samsung.

Can't say I am seeing your problem. On those channels that
are dedicated HD (if it is an HD broadcast), the picture is
great. Only channel of the group I see that can be bad is
ESPNHD. They have a ways to go.

Again, there is no "problem". Since I'm speaking in relative terms on a
subjective topic if you have not seen HD on a TS360 you probably are not
going to be able to judge the relative merits of one over the other. I
am simply saying that HD on the 360 seemed sharper than the 210 although
the 210 appears much more stable to me.
