Is there an easier way to do this than without a floppy?

Can it be done from a USB Thumb Drive?

Ive heard that it can be done by modifying your XP disk (Slipstream), but that sounds like alot of work just to install the drivers.

I have a Gigabyte DS3 Rev 3.3 Motherboard, and I want to run either RAID 0 or RAID 1 off of dual SAMSUNG SATA 3.0, 16mb, 320gb hard drives.

Ive been flopping back and forth about performance versus having a total backup. I work with large files (video editing , divx). How much performance increase will I see if I use RAID 0?
