Ok. So today I turned on my computer and everything starts up and I went to get a drink. When I got back Vista is started but I have no ethernet, USB (including mouse and keyboard), sound, and every other port on my motherboard is disabled. I restarted and it still did not work. However, all of these things work in the BIOS and in Ubuntu. I have no idea how this happened unless Vista's USB drivers became corrupted for some unknown reason... If anyone can help me fix this WITHOUT having to do a system restore from the cd I will be very very very happy! But if there is no option besides system restore than that is ok. But I would rather not restore.
