Hi, any help will be appreciated.
I tried to Do a recovery of my Aspire 5000 factory usuing the 4 disks provided (System and three more - Windows XP ). Recovery starts well, until half way Disk 2 of 3 (as written on the label). Tried 4 times, the recovery stops after about 9 minutes, as it is copying fonts. The error message is that it cannot read file from the CD. Once I click OK, the next error message is: "cannot find preload.tag for SetBootlni".

Can you advise how to proceed. Thanks

try to bot to safe Mode(F8 at boot), then Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore and Restore the computer to a known good time, a lot easier and quicker
