my wifes hp m9350f has a weird problem. It won't activate some links. If I right click some than I can run or open.
Have autoupdate on, re downloaded explorer 8, ran ccleaner, defraggler, sfc /scannow, chkdsk, all to no avail. Some links tho slowly others immediate.

The crazy part (to me anyway) is everything else seems to be working?? Any ideas? help!

by 'activate links' what do you mean exactly?

Could be your antivirus software "protecting" you. Or it might be Windows itself not allowing access to downloaded files until you unprotect them. (Windows 2003 is bad like this).

But as notherdude stated, more information about the problem is really required.
