Our network administrator only gave me 1 class-c static IP address for my office. The static IP is 192.168.1.244. The problem is I need to share this connection to 4 more computers & be able to control their access by MAC address. To complicate things further, they are only allowed to access the internet during specific times of the day only, like from 11:30am to 3:00pm.

I am planning to use Wingate as my gateway. Is it possible? If it is, please give me a few hints on how to start. Thanks

Well not familiar with the gateway you suggested but this should work out of the box with exception of the control by mac address and restricting the internet. Just dig into the manual of the gateway and figure it out. I know all of this stuff is possible with a cheap router hacked with dd-wrt firmware so if you gateway is descent it should work.
