Hi everyone. When attempting to delete browsing history, for example, I get a nonresponsive "Run dll as an app" message. Within the error report is this: C:\DOCUME~1\Cheryl\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERE6350.dir00\rundll32.exe.mdmp and C:\DOCUME~1\Cheryl\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERE6350.dir00\appcompat.txt. There are other instance of rundll32 hangs but I can't think of them rightnow. Can anyone tell me how to rememdy this?? I've been online all day looking and can't find anything! Thanks so much!! Cheryl

Could be corrupt history. See Dealing with a corrupt Cache at:

Also, Completely Deleting the Temporary Internet Files and index.dat.

Could also be malware. Update your antivirus and do a full scan.

I want to give the link of the page where I may have found a solution. I ran my Delete Browsing History and it seems to work now without the rundll32 hang.

Thanks for your help and I'll repost if I find that this didn't work.
