When I try to download an MSI file to install a program, the MSI file doesn't show up in the folder where I download it to. So I tried to just "Run" the install instead of saving it, but nothing happens after the download. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Your antivirus isn't blocking it by any chance?

Try reinstalling Windows Installer.
