So, I have a couple computers and a few gpus. One rig is a Dell. The other I use to game. Out of curiosity, do you think I could put my 8800 in the dell, put a low power card in my game rig and run my pci-e power connectors to the 8800 in the dell to benchmark it with my p4 so I can see the difference in that and my e6600? I know I should just try, but the family computer is not very easy to disconnect and if I know it won't work it saves me a lot of hassle.

If you just switch the PSU's in both it should work.

If you are already going through the hassle of swapping cards, I wouldn't risk frying a card, or getting bad test results.

Thats just me....
