I have a Lightscribe DVD Super Multi Drive / CD Writer. This morning I think it was fine then I shut down my computer and turned it back on later and it was gone!

It will open and close but I can't find it on the Driver Management, My Computer or Win Explorer.

Double check the data cable between the drive and the board. It may have come unplugged or could be defective.

The OP hasn't responded in over 2 months, probly has it figured out by now.

Nobody in their right mind should let someone they don't know from a forum remote into their PC. Not to mention, it was likely hardware related.
