P5B Deluxe won't recognize HDD

I just put together a new rig for a client and the BIOS won't recognize any HDD's other than one Western Digital Raptor. Settings under it in BIOS are to standard and compatible. It also asked whether to recognize it as DHCI or IDE and I chose IDE. Any ideas?

Are they ATA, SATA, or both? Check the BIOS to make sure it's set up to recognize the ATA and/or SATA drives. If ATA, make sure the jumpers are set correctly. If SATA make sure they are plugged in to the proper board connectors, e.g., some boards have 2 set of have SATA connectors one for RAID and one for non RAID. If you have installed Windows yet, best to not install any other drives until it's installed

If it's a standalone sata, use ide. If you change from ide to dhci after xp install, you may mess up xp. dhci is for sata & ncq, iirc.
