Re-Installed WIndows but can't validate

I installed a OEM copy of Windows XP Home Edition. I brought a new PSU which damaged my hard drive when it blew!. So i had to format my hardrive and reinstall windows.
The problem is i can't activate my copy of Windows as when i use the oroginal product key it says it has already be activated on a different pc.
Is there anyway i can still register this copy of Windows with my pc as i get the stupid 30 days notice etc and after that my pc won't let me onto the OS.

Follow the instructions shown on the screen and activate it by phone.

Yeah, what MrLinux said. Phone activation is automated and easier than you think.
