G15 and fan controller - Is this possible?

I have a G15 Keyboard and there are various add ins to allow for temp monitoring etc on the LCD. I was wondering would it be possible to use a 4 fan controller (something like the alphacool http://www.alphacool.de/product_in [...] lack:.html) and then have an applet that will display temps and fan speed?

The issue I can see is plugging the fans directly into the fan controller the mobo will then no longer be able to read the fan speeds.

I quite fancy hooking this up in an Antec 900 controlling cpu, top exaust, rear exhaust and front two (as one fan).
