Ok, so i have a dell dimension 8300 in which i am trying to do a restore on after a blue screen error. I turned off the cumputer and let it sit over night. Upon booting the computer i am getting a message saying "primary drive 0 not found, primary drive 1 not found" and tell me to hit f1 to continue. After i hit continue it just goes into a blank screen. I opend up the computer and cheked if there were any disconnected or loose cables and everything was right. I went into the BIOS and it tell me that there is a SATA 120GB Maxtor hard drive in the computer. So i decided to pop in the dell restore cd and nothing happens after reboot. Went into the BIOS again and the boot configuration tells me that the CD/Disk drive is "not installed" (keeping in mind that there are two drives on the computer one dvd and one cd). I then tried an external cd/dvd drive via usb and still nothing happend. What do i need to do to restore/reformat this computer? The Hard drive is alrite because i removed it an connected it to another computer and i was able to pull all my data off of it by directly connecting the SATA cable to the motherboard. Must i need to set the Bios to the defaults? Update the bios? How do i reinstall the CD drive?

p.s I also did try to do the CRTL+F11 and there is nothing there. And in the boot menu there is an additional partion called "utility partition".
