I found these two, but not sure if the price diffrence is worth it...


8800GTS 640MB 320-bit

or is my X1900XT 512 as good as these?

the gtx is much faster. the 1900xt isint even close. now, are they worth the money, well that is personal. if you play new games and want all the eye candy you can get. then the 8800's are worth it. if you dont play new games or dont have everything set to high, the no there not.

NO, but it is still a good card. I have the x1900xtx and overclocked it and am still fine on a 22" lcd. I am waiting until the 65nm highend cards start showing up. I think unless you are itching to upgrade or have money burning a whole in your pocket, just wait it out. There are alot of changes in the video card market comming up.

If you really need an upgrade, go for the GTX, it's a bigger improvement.

But your X1900XT is still fine, don't see a need to upgrade it.
