Hi Everyone I'm glad to be a part of the comunity.
I have a Gateway 7323U dual core 2.0 GHz 3 gigs DDR2 667 320 Gig HD. I beleive the chipset is Intel mobile 45 but I can't find any documentation on the gateway site nor will they offer any help I'm pretty sure it's using Realtek HD audio. I've downgraded or (upgraded) from Vista to XP. I've installed XP Home with service pack 3. Was able to load all drivers except audio. I've tried the KB888111 fix it say the service pack you have installed is newer that the file you are installing. I'm really at my wits end here any help would be appreciated greatly. Thanks in advance. damigr33333

There doesn't seem to be a supported audio driver for xp. You should either install vista or get an add on soundcard that will support xp.

personally, i'd rather get a soundcard than vista. Those are the options.....
