Intel's X38 will add PCI Express 2.0, DDR-3 memory, and support for two x16 graphics slots; AMD's RD790 will support AMD's quad-core Barcelona or "Phenom" processors and its AM2+ socket, as well as the next-next-generation PCI Express 3.0, whose chief advantage will be the additional power it will deliver to graphics cards.

AUGH!

is this correct?

if so, something must be wrong in this world....

They mean PCIe 2.0 like they mentioned a few sentences before i think it's a typo.

PCIe 3.0 hasn't been ratified yet, and PCI3.0 is no longer 'next gen' so it's likely a Typo as PCIe 225/300 is still in draft and not about to be on a MoBo yet as anything other than a pre/draft spec if that.

Just a typo IMO.
