I have gotten past some minor issues on my new build. Now on the Vista 64 installation it goes all the way to completion with no errors and says it must restart, which is typical. But then it goes right back into booting off the DVD/CD drive and starts a fresh install. I tried removing the DVD/CD but that did not work. Could having the bios set to ACHI have anything to do with it? Suggestions??

If you have your optical drive set to boot before the hard drive in BIOS, then the computer will attempt to boot from the optical drive first. All you have to do is sit and wait for it (should take only a couple of seconds) to check the drive for a bootable disc and then boot from the hard drive.

Just let it do its thing. The install only needs to boot from the install disc once.
