All these boards hover around $150 on the egg (except the P5K, which is the same price at Directron), and I've been driving myself nuts with differences.
I realize not many people have use the ASUS P5K, but it's got some awesome options on it.
I have a 7900GS GPU, and will probably get an E6420 (or 6600, can't decide).
SLI isn't super important to me, so an Intel chipset is an option.
I have Windows Vista Home Premium, so it's gotta be stable.
Plan to OC at least up to 3.2 ghz with 800 mhz G. Skill RAM.
This is my first build, and I've never OCed before, so a user friendly bios would be helpful.
Well, after months of deliberation, and LOTS of good advice, I've decided to go with the Gigabyte DS3 (3.3). For $129 and free shipping from the egg, I really can't find any reason not to for my first build. Thanks guys SO MUCH for all your help - this website has been invaluable!
