Ok guys i have another important question to ask......when you activate windows to your computer is this activation going through just the hard drive it self or the motherboard and can you use the same copy of windows on another harddrive for another computer or is it only good for one time? Can someone explain to me how this works?

OEM versions of Windows are tied to the computer on which they are installed. Retail versions can be transferred to new computers. Basically, with OEM versions, you cannot do any major upgrading without having to reactivate Windows. Of course, all you have to do is tell MS that your motherboard died and you replaced it. Retail versions can be transferred to any other computer... but of course it has to be removed from the old one first.
