Hi Guys,
I have Creative Sould bBaster Live 24 bit sound card. I play games like battlefield 2, battle field 2142. and other new games that will be coming out. Do you guys advise that i upgrade to Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer. How much diffrence will it make. I have no idea about X fi series. I will appreciate your advise. Thanks in advance

Depends on the rest of your rig. If you are using an old computer, the money spent on a new sound card won't really help you. Are you experiencing audio problems in your games? Do you have a good 5.1 speaker setup? If the answer to both of those is no, then don't upgrade. A new card will only help you get the special EAX effects, which only works well on good speakers.

You don't need the gamers card really, the music card gives the choice of game mode, entertainment mode, audio mode, this card has everything a gamers card has and more.
