Need help!!!

pulling my hair out as i cant figure out what the hell causes the double chevrons button on the task bar not to work, the quick launch wont display the list of icons, nor will the links toolbar, i created a new administrator account thinking this will undo any changes i have done but no luck, i try searching on Google with no luck..

using windows vista ultimate 64-bit

plz any help will be much appreciated..

Ah, I see (barely).

You need to right click on the task bar and uncheck "lock the task bar". Then you can slide it over until those go away. There are more programs there than room to view them. After you resize it, you can lock it again.
