Hey Guys,

I got an Asus P4P800 SE and it has 2 SATA ports on board, 1 port is taken up by the OS Drive, I would like to add 2 more ports, and use them in a Raid 1 configuration....thus my question...

Can anyone suggest a good PCI SATA Card that I can add to my system (motherboard only has PCI ports), I would like one that will do hardware raid (processing done on the card) as opposed to software raid (processing done my my CPU)

if this helps, i've been looking at these cards....

SIIG SCSA4R12S2 PCI SATA Controller Card

PROMISE SATA300

PNY SPU3100PPB PCI SATA S-CURE Storage Card

PNY SPU5103PPB PCI SATA S-CURE Storage Card

PROMISE FastTrak TX2300 PCI SATA

Any other brands / models / ideas would be greatly welcomed since im stuck :D

What RAID level do you want to run and for what purpose? What features or priorities of speed, cost, flexibility, # of ports, etc. are most important and which are least important? That will dictate what card will have the best match to what you want to do.
