Controlling wireless mouse and keyboard

Hi,
I have got a wireless keyboard, to be precise "microsoft wireless multimedia keyboard 1.1" which came along with a wireless mouse "microsoft optical wireless mouse 2000".
since im running out of usb slots and that ive already got a wireless mouse(bought earlier) "microsoft optical wireless mouse 3000".


all i want to know is that, is it possible for me to control "microsoft optical wireless mouse 3000" using the dongle that came for the "microsoft wireless multimedia keyboard 1.1 and microsoft optical wireless mouse 2000?

microsoft optical wireless mouse 3000 has its own dongle.
and
microsoft wireless multimedia keyboard 1.1 and microsoft optical wireless mouse 2000 has its own dongle (1 dongle to control them both).

so that i can free a usb slot.

It depends on what frequency they run on. Since they are made by the same manufacturer, they will likely work on the same dongle.
