I have 2 Symantec Partition Manager CD, got duplicate from Fry's on a Sale! Anyway a long time ago I installed Boot Magic and did not uninstall it, well I have repartitioned the HD and forgot the partition letter of the original installation. Now BM will not install as it looks for the original partition letter. I have tried deleting all the files listed on the forum plus many Symantec suggested, all to no avail.
Tried the second PM8 CD and things went great up to where the installation said it could not find file "_8820E70DCA774C02982525060B6BFCA1" in cabinet file PQ Boot.cab'
I would like to use BM as I have XP on one HD and Umbuntu on another and cannot get Grub to work.
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
