Hello guys, I've got some problems with an old COMPAQ PRESARIO 5473, and I have to format the Hard Drive. I just connect this HD to my laptop using an USB adapter and it is working fine; I just want to install from my laptop the winXP to this USB Connected HD without chnaging anything in my laptops winXP ¿Do you know a SW that will help me to do that?
Thank you very much for your time and support

Your laptop needs to be able to boot from USB. Restart pc, tap a key printed on screen for SETUP/BIOS, look for boot and boot order, try to find USB.
