Microstation file association problem

Hello,
Bentley Microstation is loaded on my office PC. Normal screen savers (.SCR) share format extension with Microstation Resource files (.SCR). Problem is that screen savers now have Bentley icons and don't allow access to the normal attributes of screen savers. Tried to disassociate from within the Bentley software but wasn't successful. And now .SCR files don't even show up in the Tools-Folder Options-File Types. Just looking for any suggestions...

Try typing "assoc .scr=scrfile" in a command prompt.

I entered it from the command prompt (C:\>) as you recommended but got "Error occurred while processing: .scr". Maybe it's a problem with the administrator control?
