Can DOS applications be run on a Handspring Visor Deluxe?
I have had an issue whereby my Visor Deluxe eat batteries in 6 weeks
even when it is turned off. I found some newsgroup suggestions that a
hardware reset (with the unbent paperclip) might solve the problem,
but my machine doesn't reset when I follow the instructions: insert
paperclip and hold down power button. Basically nothing happens.
Splash screen comes on, but everything is still there.
How does one remove applications, short of erasing everything
(removing the batteries), and then resyncing from a reduced desktop?
I went to the Palm site where they have a nice skeleton of support for
the Handspring devices, but when you actually try to get info, it is
empty. Is that revenge on the unfaithful?
Sorry if these questions are too unbearably newbie.
