System was hang during the installing the windows of

hi my dear friend,
my system was hang during the installation of windows xp and the system was not show the partion table it will stop at the setup screen if u have any idea of this problem please send me.

Use a bootable partition editor (PartedMagic) to delete and re-create the partition table, the XP installer will often hang if it finds Linux or Extended partitions on a disk.
