I have conect my laptop with a extra keyboard through USB port but its not working at all?what I must do?

A driver for the keyboard must be installed. If not available, go to start, programs, windows updates.

If it didn't recognize the keyboard when first plugged in:
control panel-->system-->device manager-->uninstall the usb root hubs under the universal serial bus controller-->restart

This will force the PC to reinstall them on startup and recognize any hardware plugged into them.
