At the office we buy the cheapest Ram we can get and rarely have a problem with it (<1% failure rate). Also keep in mind that OEM's all do the same thing on all their non high-end workstations

Just avoid the Corsair ValueSelect line -- it's just farmed out to the lowest-bid third-party manufacturer, who slaps a Corsair label on it; consistency and reliability suffer as a result.
