Explorer Just keeps deciding to crash when it feels like it:

Try repairing your windows install through the repair console.

Before you repair, make sure you don't have some kind of Trojan, or Worm, virus on the machine.

Ya, that'd probably be a good idea. You can boot into safe mode with networking and run a virus scanner.
