I am wanting to build a computer--should I buy the OEM Vista Home Premium or the OS?? If I buy the OEM, how do I install it?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you buy the OEM, you can only install in one computer at the same time....buy the OS is better 'cause you can install in more that one pc at the same time.

The previous post statment "buy the OS is better 'cause you can install in more that one pc at the same time. " is incorrect.
You can only install it on one computer at a time to install it on another computer, you must first remove it from the other. To install on multiple computer requires a volume licence.
OEM is not transferrable from one computer to another, so if you change the m/board and cpu it is deemed to be a new computer by Microsoft.
The retail version does allow you to change the m/board and cpu and keep using the software or use it on a new computer, as long as it is removed from the original one.
