More Information

In the next few days I will be firing up my first PC build (Asus P5B Deluxe WiFi rev.1.10G). Everything is assembled except I'm waiting on my PSU to arive. I have heard a lot of people having problems configuring the JMicron controllers for the IDE DVD drives to work properly. I know from lots of reading that after my first post the thing to do right away is update the bios before proceeding with the clean install of Windows XP Home. My mobo supports Easy Flash 2 which I'll be using my USB flash drive to update the bios. Do you have any suggestions for configuring the JMicron controllers or any bios configuration options? Thanks for you helpful suggestions!
