I have just bought a hp wireless mini mouse and despite installing the disk it still will not work , The laptop i have does not reconize it as a mouse only as a unknown device.I have had this issue with other mice but when i plug an old Dell mouse in it works fine !! Up until about 8-9 months ago i was able to plug any mouse into it and everything was fine ...the problem is i'm not great on computers but it seems something has changed like a window update which does occasionally install a new update that stops my sound from working and i have to uninstall it !! I have spoke to Toshiba who make the laptop i use but they couldn't offer me a solution 
HELP PLEASE !!! and please try to keep it simple as i say i'm a pc idiot
