Write Protection

This is not working for me,

I have unchecked the "read only" box and pressed apply, then a message comes up saying,

"An error has occurred applying to the attributes to the file, This media is Write-Protected"

Then four buttons saying- Ignore - Ignore All- Retry- Cancel

So i press Retry and it does nothing but take me back to the same message as above.

If i press ignore, it takes me out of the message and nothing has changed.

This is a USB flashdrive with the option to insert a memory card for a phone or camera.

Please help, i will be forever greatful.
