every time I try to load windows vista it goes to a blue screen and has the following error: A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.

Does anyone know what could cause this problem. There is no shading option in the BIOS and the laptop is only 2 weeks old. The last time i loaded windows it did a system crash dump.

Try booting into the safe mode menu and choose the last known good configuration.

Try system restore in safe mode: WinKey+R, type msconfig, in tools tab find system restore & press lounch. Restore to date, everything was ok.
