I have winxp
2 sata drives
I used norton ghost to copie the 1st drive primary partition to the 2nd drive primary partition.
then I unplugged the 1st drive and it doesn't boot.

timeout=20
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\
do i need to change anything here on the 2nd drive??

thanks :pt1cable:

did you go to the Control Panel, Adimisrtative Tools, Computer Management, Storage, Disk Management and make the partition active?
