hi, I'm looking for a good video converter that converts videos from a video cam to "AVI"

I already put my videos from my video cam to my pc... all i have to do is convert it to AVI.

I'm using DVD Santa that is why

I Googled this program and read some of the reviews, enough to say dump it and get a decent program.
You will be better served to buy a reputable program that can convert, edit and save to a file you can use, ie; MPG, AVI or WMV and also burn to DVD.
Get Cyberlink, Corel Movie Factory or something like that. Sometimes you may get a superceded version on a cover dvd of a PC magazine free by registering the program.

Try Format Factory. Just Google it. It's free and they continuously update it.

For create video to a gif I prefer use VidGIF 2.3 (http://www.geovid.com/VidGIF/ ),because it's very simple programm.Try to convert of this programm. :hello:
