I purchased a used computer from a company that sells their used machines. However, it is a blank slate. It has no op sys on it. I have purchased Windows xp, but I have no idea how to get started.

Boot the computer, tap the delete key as it's booting to get into the BIOS.

Find the boot order in the BIOS, and set the CD/DVD drive as first.

Put the OS disc in the drive.

Restart.

You will see a message 'press any key'. Press a key and the process will start.
