im wondering what version of vista i need to buy, i am upgrading my motherboard and apparently i need to upgrade my OS too. i already have windows xp professional.
I dont know which one i need. it says the one on top is an upgrade and since i have windows xp already i am assuming that is the right one....any input would be appreciated!!!

Definitely get the OEM ($109) copy. It includes an upgrade coupon for Windows 7. The retail copy costs more for less.
The other option is you can wait until October 22nd and get Windows 7 when it comes out.
