i get this send error message when i click one of my hard drive partition. everytime i click the partition, it will show the contents for a brief time before the message appears. I usually solve this by click ctrl+alt+del and terminate the folder which is not responding. Please help me since I need to access the file withing the partition

Have you run a disk test on the drive?

Try running a dskchk on the drive. It sounds like something is corrupt. When windows is trying to touch it, it's causing the error and it goes non-responsive.

I will try to check the disk first. Thanks for your assistance :D

try already dskchk using tune up disk doctor. no error was found..I think I will move all the files in partition to another place and reformat the partition.
