CPU power consumption?

Can anybody guide me where can i find power consumption for Pentium D 930 and C2D e6700. I have pentium D 930 right now. i want to upgrade to e6700. Thanks in advance.

  1. All the core2duo except for quad cores and extremes uses 65W/h maximum. Normally the numbers should be far from the maximum.

    1-The PD 930 should consume a bit on the high side of the scale
    2-The E6700 is priced relatively too near to an Q6600 and does not per form substantialy better than an E6600; I'd get a Q6600 (if not overclocking) or a E6600/E6450 if I was to OC.

  4. It's hard to find reviews with precisely the right processors, here one that compare a E6700 with several 900 series P-Ds:

    So you should probably expect a drop of 40W.
