Upgrade advice my current 9800 Pro.

My current build is as follows:

Athlon 64 3000+
1 Gig 3200
Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro

Both the CPU and video card ared OCed about 15% and rock solid for the last 3 years.

I'm not ready to go to PCI-E yet, I'm waiting for DX10 to matter and SP1 to come out for Vista before I do a new build.

I work on my machine, but I also game a good deal. Company of Heroes, Dawn of War (even this is kinda slow on my rig), Half life 2 (oddly, runs better than dawn of war).

I want to spend about $150 on a new AGP vid card, I figure I will do a new build in ~10 months or so.

Suggestions? I'm below the price range for a 1950Pro which seems to be the bang for the buck AGP card.

  1. If you can't do the X1950 pro for $170ish after rebate, the next step down is a X1950GT for $160 shipped no rebates. 7600GT/X1650XT are a pretty big step down in performance but would be the next best options if this is still too expensive. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102093

If it were me, I'd splurge and do this one:
