Windows Photo Gallery Viewer

I have windows vista and everything was working fine but now when i go into my photo gallery and click on the thumbnail, a message comes up that says there is an error preventing the Windows Photo Gallery Viewer from starting. What can i do to get it working again?

ditto same issue. Will not open Jpg. but only on the c:drive it opens everything in to the viewer fine on other drives and i i tell it to slide show it will show the pictures fine but if i go in to the pictures file and double click on a jpg pic i get the error "Photo Gallery can't open this picture or video. this file format is not supported, or you don't have the latest updates to Photo Gallery"

same thing here to, i can view the thumbnail fine but nothing shows when i click on the pic it self but a white screan... i have to have this for work i can loose my job over this and clients...
