what and where do i find a network security key. Is it on thr computer or netgesr wireless router

it is controlled by signing into the router thru your browser!

Paste that in your browsers URL window to access your Netgear router.

Log in with:
username - admin
password - password

You'll find network security in one of the tabs at the top.
