I have a Samsung DLP HLP4663 and Dish Network with a HD sat. box using a
DVI cable. Yesterday I noticed the SD channels were blurry. Like I was
looking through a window, smeared with a thin coat of vaseline with very
fine vertical lines. The HD channels still come in fine and until yesterday
the other channels came in good. I have had the TV for almost one month.

I haven't seen this problem reported with Samnsung DLP. Anybody have any
ideas? Is this the TV or the signal from the Dish Network? I know it is
not the DVI cable because I tried my component cables and the problem
persisted.

TIA,

Rob

Have you tried connecting an antenna to the rf input to see what the local
direct reception may look like?? Then compare the clarity with that of the
satellite received signals. May be suprised if you have a couple of strong
locals that you can receive. I would suspect signal quality is the kikker.
