Hello, I've had a serious problem with my video files skipping and it doesn't seem to matter which ones. I remember it starting after I reinstalled XP x64 due to a problem I had. Ive reinstalled windows 2 - 3 times making sure to use a clean codec pack to ensure it isn't the codecs causing the problem I've used the k-lite and CCCP codec packs.

My system specs are:
xp x64 edition
Asus P5e motherboard (x38 chipset)
Core2duo e8400
8 gigs of ram (tried it with just 4 gigs in)
2x radeon 4850's in crossfire / catalyst 9.4 and 9.5 drivers tried
creative x-fi titanium with DDL drivers installed


please tell me if you need to know anything else to help me, thanks ahead of time!

It's very likely a driver issue. XP 64 was never the greatest for driver support. Have you tried running a single card without the xfire?

I havent tried that yet but recently i switched to vista x64 and now the video works fine. It really must have been some dumb driver causing the issue. Thanks for the input.

Sounds about right. That was why XP 64bit never really took off. The resources went to vista since it was a 64bit platform.
