firstly i open the msword file and type something in file. after this i X-close my file but that was hanged and then displayed a box for "END NOW". i click the "END NOW" option then a another box is displayed for "SEND ERROR REPORT OR DONT SEND",then i click the "DONT SEND" and then my desktop icons was suddenly vanished , so now i want to display them again on my desktop for this purpose what should i do?

Sounds like the icons are hidden.

Right click on the desktop
Click Arrange Icons By...
In that list there is a Show Desktop items option, ensure its checked.

That should do it for you
