I'm using Windows XP. When telling Windows Explorer to open to a Normal Window size, it opens fine to the My Documents path.

But I want Explorer to open to the My Computer path, so I add /e to the Target destination. When I do this, Windows Explorer ALWAYS maximizes! Even when I resize the window to a more approprate size. I don't want a full screen Explorer - I have a 1680 x 1050 widescreen display!

I tried a Google search, and it turns out I'm not the only person suffering from the Windows Explorer Forces Maximized" glitch. However, after trying different save-folder settings and holding down either CTRL or SHIFT to close, XP still canoot remember a Normal Window size for Explorer.

If anyone can help me out - or reiterate one of the possible solutions - I would be grateful to take another shot at fixing this. It's very annoying. Thanks!
